My name is Chin and I’ll be your chef today. I was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. From an early age, I can remember countless meals that my mother and I prepared together. Those same meals provide comfort for so many families in the world.
At the age of 30, I was diagnosed with a debilitating condition know as degenerative joint disease. Like so many others, I was perscribed opiates to aid in pain relief but ultimately led to addiction. One long look at myself in the mirror and I decided that I didn’t want to feel like this and stopped the opioids “cold turkey”. I read about alternatives to pain medication and came across several articles about cannabis and how it’s helping millions of people worldwide to ease their pain.
The act of infusing basic ingredients that I had laying around the kitchen led to my entire diet being medicated. I had a new bounce in my step. My attitude was better. My appetite returned and my moods began to stabilize. Then one day a coworker approached me because she could not sleep. I asked her if she’d tried “pot” and she nodded then quickly added that she hadn’t done it in years and she didn’t want her grand children to smell it. I offered to bake her a few cookies. After a couple of days I walked into the office and my coworker was raving about the cookies. Well, she told a friend and the friend ordered a dozen then she told a friend and Ediblez was born.
Thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for the unyielding love and support. Now let me get back into my kitchen
